The Brazil Learning Initiative for a World without Poverty (WWP) was an interinstitutional partnership signed in 2013 between the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG), the Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea), Brazil´s Ministry of Social Development (MDS) – formerly the Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger – and the World Bank Group (WBG).
Le suivi du respect des conditions fixées aux bénéficiaires du programme Bolsa Familia passe par l’élaboration régulière de rapports sur l’accès des familles bénéficiaires aux services publics de base. Ce document s’intéresse aux résultats du suivi dans le temps des conditions imposées en matière de santé et d’éducation. Le programme contrôle actuellement la fréquentation scolaire de 90 % des élèves des familles bénéficiaires, tandis que la couverture du suivi dans le domaine de la santé dépasse 73%.

It is presented the development process – with difficulties and solutions – of the Unified Social Assistance System Census (‘SUAS Census’). After its creation, many progress were achieved in Brazil's Social Assistance, regarding established indicators and planning processes to improve management and social control. A table summarizes the main lessons learned since 2007, when it began.
In this document, the developing process of two tools for the production of maps: Identification of Vulnerable Household (IDV) and Opportunities and Public Services Map (MOPS). These tools have subsidized critical decisions in the operation of actions of the Plan Brazil Without Extreme Poverty. With IDV and MOPS, social program managers can identify poverty pockets in the cities, as well as provide information to low-income families on integration opportunities in the labor market.
The publication describes how was the developing of the Cecad tool (Consultation, Selection and Extraction of Information of the Unified Registry), challenges and solutions found. Since its launching in 2012, several improvements have been made. Currently, Cecad has about 500,000 access per month and it is used by managers of federal, state and municipal social programs which use the Unified Registry database.
This paper presents the main informational tools produced by the Department of Information Management SAGI/MDS to assist the management activities, monitoring and evaluation of social programs from the MDS. At access peaks, SAGI’s tools have about 1.5 million visits on a single day. More than one hundred countries access these data regularly.
