UNESCO: The world is not set to meet its education goals by 2030
BLOG: Education is the key to success and yet, UNESCO projections say if trends continue, a whopping 225 million children will still be out of school by 2030. UNESCO projections show that 40 percent of children worldwide will fail to complete secondary education, a figure that will reach 50 percent in sub-Saharan Africa, where the proportion of trained teachers has been declining since 2000.
Back in 2015, the United Nations (UN) adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals – a blueprint for all developed and developing countries to address global challenges, such as those relating to poverty and quality education – to be achieved by 2030. Read More
