In the face of these challenges, the East African community (EAC) and its Partner States have made significant progress in combatting violence against children on various fronts. Countries within the EAC have also made important strides in addressing violence against children. Kenya Tanzania and Uganda have undertaken national surveys, and have formulated national plans of action to address violence against children.
