Hands on Learning Course for Social Safety Nets: Design & Implementation
Ayala Consulting Group’s Hands-on Learning Course complements the existing theory-based courses in the social protection field. Our active learning methodology enables social protection practitioners to better understand and improve the way they apply tools and lessons to their home context to raise the quality of social protection initiatives worldwide. We teach the how-to, focusing on practical steps for the management and implementation of social protection initiatives and connecting state-of-the-art innovations with field realities.
This course is designed for social protection professionals, including managers of implementing agencies and program units, Government and Ministry officials, and donor agency and program staff.
Topics in this course cover the project cycle including Design Parameters, Management Information Systems, Targeting, Supply Capacity, Enrolment, Transfers of benefits, Co-responsibility Monitoring, Case Management, and Internal Monitoring, as well as complementary topics such as Integrated Social Safety Nets, National Social Protection Registries, and Capacity Building. The course runs for two weeks for a total of 75 hours.
