I am a young professional with a background in African Studies. I am highly interested in the impact that social policy has on its beneficiaries and how it is formed, especially in a developmental context. Both my research and work focus(sed) on empowerment of people at the margins of society. Currently I am working on a PhD (Geography) which focusses on power relations in the design and implementation of social cash transfers in Malawi and Lesotho at the University of Dundee.
