Maham Farhat

Maham is a Social Policy Consultant with experience of conducting programme and impact evaluations using mixed methods. She currently leads the development of social policy projects in OPM’s Myanmar office. Maham has worked for five years in numerous project evaluations and technical assistance programmes in Kenya, Uganda, Nepal, Mongolia, Pakistan and Ghana. She is proficient in the design of data collection instruments, enumerator training and analysis of survey data (in STATA), as well as qualitative data (in NVIVO). Maham has also worked as a Research Manager for Innovations for Poverty Action in Ghana, leading teams conducting randomised control trials of interventions targeting KG teacher training for early childhood education; secondary school choice in public schools; microfinance for small scale businesses and combined inputs for smallholder rice farmers in Southern Ghana. At IPA Ghana, Maham also had the oversight of the field research quality systems and staff.
