The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) is a decentralized body of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mexico) . Created on September 28, 2011, it has specific powers to address issues related to International Development Cooperation.
The AMEXCID was created according to the LCID in 2011 and works on two fronts:
- Coordination and planning of the international cooperation of the Mexican State, promoting the following cooperation modalities: educational, cultural, technical and scientific, financial and economic.
- Promote, in coordination with other entities of the federal public administration, to Mexico Abroad through its Representations.
